Principles for Review of Information

PRINCIPLE 1

The information pursuant to each Operating Objective will be reviewed by a group that collectively possesses expertise in all the pertinent subject matters.

PRINCIPLE 2

All the submissions pursuant to any particular Operating Objective (or sub-Objective) will be reviewed by the same group.

PRINCIPLE 3

The USG Department that has the lead for any particular Operating Objective(s) will recruit members for its review group(s) from either Headquarters or Regional Offices or both – depending upon where the requisite expertise resides.

PRINCIPLE 4

The USG Department that has the lead for any particular Operating Objective(s) will invite other Departments to participate in its review group(s) – especially those other Departments that participated in developing the guidance for the Operating Objective and/or have a mission interest in that particular aspect of preparedness.
